Elwood Staffing is urgently hiring a Delivery Driver in Longview, TX! Mon-Fri 7a-3:30p $19-21/hr!

Delivery Driver Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 19.00 to $ 21.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)

• Operate a manual transmission (stick-shift) delivery truck to transport windows, doors, and building materials to customers and job sites
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload windows, doors, and other materials to prevent damage during delivery
• Assist with loading and unloading heavy or oversized products, including glass windows and doors
• Verify delivery orders and paperwork to ensure accurate and complete shipments
• Inspect delivery vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Communicate with customers and job-site personnel to coordinate deliveries
• Assist with warehouse duties, including organizing inventory, pulling orders, and preparing materials for delivery
• Follow all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and delivery schedules

Delivery Driver Qualifications:

• Must have experience driving a manual transmission (stick-shift) truck.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy or oversized windows and doors, with assistance or equipment as needed
• Comfortable performing physical labor, including frequent lifting, bending, and loading and unloading materials
• Ability to read delivery paperwork and follow assigned routes
• Strong attention to safety and customer service

• Applicant may be subject to a background check

• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
