As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.92 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Document patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and complete required reports in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
