Registered Behavior TechnicianSupports To Empower People (STEP) is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to manage community and residential services for adult men with intellectual, developmental, and mental health challenges in Rhode Island. The role involves assessing behavior, implementing intervention plans, and collaborating with clinicians and support staff to promote positive outcomes and improve quality of life.In this role, you will:Provide direct support and coaching to individuals in residential or community settings.Train staff on behavior management techniques, intervention strategies, and individualized Positive Behavior Support plans.Provide direct support to adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities within their home and community as needed by the individual.Work closely with Clinical Behavioral Specialist to analyze behavioral patterns and create P-BSP to address maladaptive behaviors.Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation of behavioral data and treatment outcomesParticipate in team meetings and contribute recommendations for individualized support plans.Perform other duties as assigned.Why JRI?Be who you are!
