TravelNurseSource is working with All Medical Personnel to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Utica, New York, 13501!

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Shift times: 10:30–23:00

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department setting
Manage patient assignments, which may extend to a 1:5 ratio or higher during surge periods
Float within skillset as needed to support safe staffing across the department
Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR
Maintain compliance with all required certifications and facility protocols throughout the contract

Required Qualifications
Valid New York State RN License (must have at minimum applied if still pending)
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Emergency Room nursing
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
TNCC or ATCN — must be in hand
Epic EMR proficiency required
Willingness to work holiday shifts; candidates must be available to work either Christmas Eve/Day and New Year's Eve/Day — holiday time-off requests will not be approved for this assignment
Local candidates are welcome; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and will be placed at the local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Experience as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) or comfort level with accepting patients requiring a SANE exam is a plus
Experience managing high patient volumes and surge conditions in an ED environment
