We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with expertise in digital communications, digital signal processing (DSP), and satellite communication systems . This role involves the design, development, verification, and integration of advanced RF and digital communication payloads. The selected candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, customers, and program leadership throughout the complete system development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced RF and digital satellite communication systems.
• Develop, implement, and validate fixed-point and multi-rate digital signal processing algorithms.
• Analyze and evaluate communication system performance using simulation models.
• Design, develop, and characterize communication waveforms.
• Perform system architecture evaluations and engineering trade studies.
• Support integration, verification, testing, and in-orbit operations of satellite payloads and spacecraft.
• Participate in FPGA/ASIC design support, verification, and system integration activities.
• Define system requirements, perform system verification, and support architecture development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams when required.
• Support internal research and technology development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience developing Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Digital Communications algorithms.
• Knowledge of communication techniques such as equalization, channel estimation, filter design, resampling, Turbo/Viterbi coding and decoding , or similar technologies.
• Minimum 3 years of experience using MATLAB and/or Simulink .
• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital communications and signal processing fundamentals.
• Minimum 3 years of systems engineering experience , including requirements development, system architecture, verification, and trade studies.
• At least 1 year of experience working with FPGA or ASIC technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and waveform generators .
• Experience leading engineering teams or technical projects.
• Extensive industry experience (approximately 14+ years ) in systems engineering, digital communications, or satellite communication systems is highly desirable.
