Pharmacy Technician in Indianapolis, IN

A pharmacy technician role is available supporting a mail order and specialty pharmacy environment, offering a 26-week contract with intent for direct hire. This position is ideal for experienced pharmacy technicians who demonstrate reliability and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.


Location: Indianapolis, IN

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 2nd shift: 12:30pm - 9:00pm (initially starting day shift 8:00am - 5:00pm)
• Possible weekend shifts

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions in a high-volume mail order or specialty pharmacy setting
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure timely processing of medication orders
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Assist with inventory management and ensure proper storage of medications
• Support the transition between day and evening shifts to facilitate continuous pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy environments
• Current Indiana pharmacy technician license is required
• Proven reliability and ability to consistently meet productivity and quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
