About This Role
Little Cub Academy is a family-owned child care center, now opened in the Mukwonago area. We are hiring teachers to join our team to help us create a warm and loving environment for the children we care for. Little Cub Academy strives to be a second home for our families. We are looking for a strong, hands-on, school age teacher for the summer! If interested, after summer, we will be opening more classrooms.
What You'll Do- Caring for our little ones
- Helping children learn using the Experience Early Learning Curriculum (or create your own curriculum!)
- Building relationship with parents and working together to best provide for our children
- Creating a safe and clean environment in the classroom
- Fostering independence by supporting children as they learn self-help skills
- Loving and caring
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Infant/child CPR
- Must clear full background check
- Must pass health screening
- Childcare coursework- Intro to Childcare Profession & Skills and Strategies
- Professional experience in an early childhood program
We are looking for someone who has experience planning age appropriate daily lessons for school age. Individual should have a strong understanding of this age group and be prepared to plan daily, fun, hands-on activities!
