Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary Local heavy/highway construction company, established in 1977, is seeking a full-time mechanic to maintain and repair diesel- and gas-powered construction equipment and trucks. Responsibilities Maintain and repair diesel- and gas-powered construction equipment and trucks. Provide welding and fabrication, electrical diagnostics, and hydraulic system troubleshooting as needed. Work independently, manage time effectively, and take pride in dependable, high-quality workmanship. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with heavy equipment brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, Bobcat, and similar manufacturers. Additional skills in welding and fabrication, electrical diagnostics, and hydraulic system troubleshooting are a plus. Must be self-motivated, reliable, trustworthy, safety-conscious, and 100% drug-free. Compensation & Benefits Starting wage is $45.96 per hour or Journeyman wages through the 513 Operating Engineers Union.
