Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Control Manager to join our team in West Salem, WI. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the production control processes, ensuring that our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. If you have a passion for optimizing production workflows and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of production control specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in production control or manufacturing management.
- Strong understanding of production planning and inventory management principles.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software and MRP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Significant manufacturing knowledge as well as advanced interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Self-directed and results-driven
