Machine Operator
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. This position involves operating machines to bend and cut steel to precise specifications for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpret work orders and technical drawings to meet customer specifications.
- Operate machines with precision.
- Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the sales department to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Maintain safety standards and a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy steel safely.
