Description: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in CT technology. ARiT and BLS certification are mandatory. Candidates must hold an Arizona license in both X-Ray and CT technology. Experience in CT alone is not sufficient. They will be required to utilize Shimadzu equipment. The role may involve covering multiple areas including inpatient, ER, outpatient, and urgent care. The average number of scans/studies performed daily is approximately 10-20. Candidates will initiate IVs as needed for CT procedures. The position will involve working mostly weeknights with some weekends if necessary. There are no specific uniform color requirements, as long as attire is clean and professional. Department-specific orientation will be provided for 2-3 days. The ability to float to different areas within the radiology department may be required based on need. Candidates should be familiar with EMR and PACS systems. Tele-radiology is utilized, and there will be no requirement to use Radiology Assistants. Rotating holiday shifts will be part of the scheduling process. Weekend shifts will be required on a rotational basis. The scheduling will be managed by the department supervisor.
