Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory evaluations—spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—adhering to set protocols.
• Scrutinize results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing whenever necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Keep a clean, safe workspace while adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Continuously maintain certification for the duration of employment.
