Location: Denver, Colorado
Position Type: Permanent, Part-Time
Compensation: $31.21–$33.27/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 30 hours/week
Weekend Rotation: None

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for an OTA who values a consistent weekday schedule, meaningful patient relationships, and the chance to work in a beautiful assisted living environment.

The position is based at The Courtyards at Mountain View , a gorgeous assisted living community in Denver, with the role also supporting Juniper Village Aurora . The ideal candidate must be comfortable working across both locations as needed.

New graduates are welcome to apply; compensation for new graduates will be aligned with their experience, clinical background, and level of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on each resident's functional needs and goals

• Assist residents with improving independence in activities of daily living

• Provide therapeutic activities designed to support strength, coordination, mobility, balance, and functional performance

• Monitor resident progress and communicate observations with the supervising OT and care team

• Document treatments, progress, and resident responses accurately and timely

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and adaptive techniques

• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

• Provide services at both The Courtyards at Mountain View and Juniper Village Aurora as assigned

• Maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) license or eligibility for licensure in Colorado

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• New graduates are welcome to apply

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team

• Willingness to provide coverage and support at Juniper Village Aurora as part of the position
