Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with 3+ years of experience and ARDMS or ARRT Advanced Ultrasound certification for a hospital imaging department.

Details

• Medical Imaging - Ultrasound department in a hospital setting
• Uses Philips and GE ultrasound equipment
• Performs general body, extremities, vascular, OB, and peds ultrasound exams
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• 40-hour variable schedule
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call requirement with minimal call hours (9am-3pm) approximately every couple of months
• Holiday coverage expectations discussed during interview
• Floating requirements discussed during interview with manager

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of ultrasound technologist experience
• Current BLS certification
• ARDMS or ARRT certification with Advanced Ultrasound Certification required
• License required if applicable
• GE equipment experience preferred
• Skills in general body, extremities, vascular, OB, and peds ultrasound imaging
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• 2 references dated within 1 year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility orientation lasts 1-2 weeks depending on skillset and comfort level
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on skillset and experience
• Time off requests require approval and must be stated in contract
• Black scrub color required
• Free parking available
• 100-mile radius rule applies; local travelers not accepted
• Facility is known for renewing traveler contracts
