Senior Information Technology Project Manager

As a Senior Technical Infrastructure Project Manager , you'll oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT projects including AV systems, networking equipment, and structured cabling deployments for dynamic office build-outs and expansions. You'll be a key player in orchestrating cross-functional teams, ensuring technical excellence, and meeting business goals through innovative project execution. 12+ month contract on W2 with the potential to extend or convert, eligible for full benefits. 100% onsite required in Atlanta, GA. Local candidates only. Roles and Responsibilities Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects for new offices and expansions. Coordinate deployment of AV systems, networking equipment, and structured cabling with internal teams and external vendors. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and status reports. Oversee site surveys, installations, and system testing to ensure optimal performance and compliance. Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to maintain project momentum. Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration between IT, Facilities, Construction, and external partners. Communicate project updates, milestones, and potential challenges to stakeholders at all levels. Ensure that all solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in technical project management, with a strong track record in IT infrastructure deployment (AV systems, networking, structured cabling). Solid understanding of network architecture, AV technology, and office IT construction processes. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, MS Project). Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Experience coordinating office builds or expansions is highly desirable. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Cisco, AVIXA CTS) are a plus.
