Project Engineer

Project EngineerThe Project Engineer will be responsible for providing technical engineering information to company supervision and crafts to insure construction work complies with all engineering standards.ResponsibilitiesInterpret design/drawings for crafts installing material.Research and recommend solutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences and errors.Verify all complete work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as staff reports, punch lists, describing work items to be done, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations, etc. to supervisor.May provide technical support and direction of project material control functions including implementation and operation of maintenance program.Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work, change orders, estimates, etc.May provide necessary building control lines and elevations for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials.Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.QualificationsRequired Education, Experience, and Qualifications4 year degree in Mechanical or Structural EngineeringWorking knowledge of construction equipment an techniques, drawings and specifications, building material and required standards applicable to discipline.Ability to perform trigonometric calculation either manually or with a calculator.Ability to assume responsibility, conduct follow up, tracking and reporting independently.Ability to interface and communicate with others effectively and professionally.Willing and able to help team with others tasks as needed and assigned.Must be self-motivated with attention to detail.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast paced environment.Well versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.Preferred Education, Experience, and QualificationsNot applicable.Travel Requirements0-5% of the time will be spent traveling to the job site(s)/office locations.Physical ActivitiesRemaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periodsRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingersClimbing stairs.Environmental ConditionsQuiet environmentPhysical DemandsLight work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 poundsENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
