You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products to their designated destinations while upholding our company's high standards for professionalism, safety, and customer service.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSafe Operation: Operate and maintain commercial vehicles, primarily Class A trucks, in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload product, ensuring it is properly secured and protected during transit.Route Planning: Plan and execute routes efficiently, considering traffic conditions, weather, and other factors that may impact delivery schedules.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including bills of lading, mileage logs, and inspection reports.Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, reporting any issues to the maintenance team promptly.Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.Compliance: Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including hours of service and weight restrictions.Communication: Maintain clear communication with dispatch and logistics teams, providing updates on the status of deliveries and any unexpected delays.CORE COMPETENCIESSafe Driving: Safety is paramount in this role.
