Job Summary

\n

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, data modeling, and ETL, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n

Develop, publish, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

\n

Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.

\n

Design efficient data models, relationships, and schemas for reporting and analytics.

\n

Develop complex calculations and measures using DAX.

\n

Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.

\n

Connect Power BI to various data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms.

\n

Perform data cleansing, transformation, and integration using Power Query/M.

\n

Implement appropriate Row-Level Security (RLS) and Power BI security practices.

\n

Optimize report performance, data models, and DAX queries.

\n

Manage deployment, workspaces, datasets, dataflows, and scheduled refreshes in Power BI Service.

\n

Work closely with business users, analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders.

\n

Troubleshoot data, refresh, visualization, and performance-related issues.

\n

Maintain technical documentation for reports, data models, and BI processes.

\n

Follow BI development standards, governance, and best practices.

\n

Required Skills & Qualifications

\n

\n

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

\n

8 years of experience in Power BI development or Business Intelligence.

\n

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.

\n

Excellent knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

\n

Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

\n

Experience with Power BI Service, workspaces, gateways, datasets, and scheduled refreshes.

\n

Good understanding of star schema, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts.

\n

Experience working with large datasets and optimizing report performance.

\n

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

\n

Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

\n
