Our challenge

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, drive Agile best practices, and collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and development teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $105k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

Role Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach teams on Agile and Scrum principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Remove obstacles and resolve issues that impact team productivity and delivery timelines.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs.
  • Track sprint progress, team velocity, burndown charts, and other Agile metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and organizational governance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and impediments and proactively drive mitigation plans.
  • Promote transparency and effective communication across all stakeholders.
  • Support Agile transformation initiatives and mentor teams transitioning to Agile practices.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, sprint metrics, and executive dashboards.

R equired Skills

  • Strong experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
  • Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or other Agile frameworks.
  • Experience facilitating distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or VersionOne.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience managing risks, dependencies, and release planning activities.
  • Ability to coach teams and drive Agile maturity across the organization

P referred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domains.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-based delivery models.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, software development, and quality assurance processes.
