Since our launch in 1995, our mission to “Connect God, People and Community.” We are passionate about seeing lives transformed by the gospel as people are encouraged, forgiven, set free, empowered, and equipped to serve according to God's design. Over the past three decades, God has allowed us to baptize more than 3,000 people and establish a strong ministry presence throughout Southern Colorado. We are currently preparing for the future by developing a 50-acre property that will serve as the home of our next ministry chapter. This individual will create environments that help people encounter God through authentic, Christ-centered worship while developing teams of musicians, vocalists, and worship leaders. We are seeking someone who is both a worship leader and a shepherd— a leader who loves people, develops volunteers, pursues excellence, and builds a culture where worship is more than music; it is a lifestyle of honoring God. The ideal candidate will be spiritually mature, musically gifted, relationally healthy, and passionate about helping people experience the presence of God. Qualifications Spiritual Qualifications Demonstrates a growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Exhibits biblical character, humility, integrity, and spiritual maturity. Supports and aligns with the mission, vision, and values of Fellowship of the Rockies. Has a heart for discipleship and team development. Committed to personal spiritual growth and leadership development. Ministry & Leadership Qualifications Proven experience leading worship in a church setting. Ability to recruit, train, develop, and retain volunteers. Strong communication and leadership skills. Effective team builder who works well within a collaborative staff environment. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and schedules. Teachable, adaptable, and accountable to church leadership. Musical Qualifications Strong vocal and instrumental proficiency. Music education, private instruction, or equivalent ministry experience preferred. Degree in music, worship ministry, or a related field preferred but not required. Familiarity with Planning Center and worship ministry technology preferred. Responsibilities Worship Leadership Lead engaging, Christ-centered worship experiences during weekend services and special events. Plan and coordinate worship services in collaboration with the Senior Pastor and ministry staff. Select songs and creative elements that support the teaching and vision of the church. Lead worship with authenticity, excellence, and spiritual sensitivity. Team Development Recruit, train, schedule, and develop worship team members and leaders. Oversee onboarding and assimilation of new worship volunteers. Provide coaching, encouragement, discipleship, and relational care for team members. Develop future worship leaders, vocalists, musicians, and band leaders. Foster a culture of spiritual growth, humility, unity, excellence, and joy. Ministry Administration Manage worship ministry schedules and volunteer rotations through Planning Center. Organize and lead effective rehearsals that build confidence, preparation, and unity. Coordinate worship ministry communication and planning processes. Help maintain instruments, equipment, and worship ministry resources. Participate in staff meetings, church events, and ministry planning. Pastoral Leadership Shepherd and care for worship team members. Invest relationally in volunteers and leaders. Support the overall mission and ministry of Fellowship of the Rockies. Collaborate with staff to help people take next steps in their faith journey. What We're Looking For Loves Jesus deeply.
