Your Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, order necessary diagnostic procedures, and create personalized care strategies.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in tandem with physicians or autonomously, based on credentials.
• Guide patients and their families on preventative care, wellness strategies, and effective disease management.
• Prescribe and manage medications and treatments within your legal scope of practice.
• Engage in patient follow-ups and oversee chronic care initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation in electronic medical record systems.

Qualifications Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Nurse program.

Licenses and Certifications Required

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Kansas.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or the ability to obtain them within 90 days of hire.
