General Warehouse Worker / (Fill) Warehouse Delivery Driver Non-CDL We are seeking a General Warehouse Worker / (Fill) Warehouse Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) at Atlantic Tire Distributors team in Charlotte, NC. STARTING PAY $18.00 to $20.00 depending on experience. Job Description This hybrid position involves driving a box truck as a delivery driver and working in the warehouse to put away or pull stock as required. Responsibilities include lifting up to 75 lb regularly and safely, passing a DOT Physical, and working shifts typically from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment (gas, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes) to ensure proper working condition. Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles. Properly document goods delivered or loaded. Load and unload trucks. Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers. Maintain records (vehicle logs, cargo logs, billing statements) in accordance with regulations. Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions. Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to base or other vehicles using phones or mobile two‑way radios. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment – Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment such as forklifts, passenger vehicles, or box trucks. Getting Information – Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. Handling and Moving Objects – Using hands and arms to handle, position, and move materials. Working Directly with the Public – Greeting customers in a friendly manner. Performing General Physical Activities – Performing physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates – Providing information to supervisors, co‑workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e‑mail, or in person. Inspecting Equipment – Inspecting equipment to identify causes of errors or other problems or defects. Static Strength – The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. Reaction Time – The ability to quickly respond to a problem when it appears. Critical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Time Management – Managing one's own time.
