The Child Welfare Learning and Evaluation Bureau is dedicated to strengthening the child welfare workforce and advancing system accountability to ensure the safety, permanency, and well‑being of children and families. Job Description and Duties Supervises staff supporting state and federal Title IV E training policy, contract oversight, and regulatory guidance. Serves as a liaison across CDSS divisions, state agencies, and partners including CalWISE and county probation to coordinate a statewide standardized training system. Oversees development of training procedures, tools, and correspondence including contracts and invoicing. Manages the Child Welfare Services Training budget in collaboration with fiscal bureaus. Represents the Bureau in meetings with federal, state, and local partners on child welfare and probation policy issues. Performs full supervisory duties while contributing to Bureau planning and operations. Special Requirements A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) or Supplemental Questionnaire must be submitted with your application to be considered for this position.
