Job Requirements

• Board certification required
• Active Pennsylvania medical license required; IMLC accepted
• DEA registration required
• ACLS certification required
• At least 1 year of urology experience required; 1–2 years preferred
• Experience with inpatient rounding and 24-hour call coverage
• Charting system experience required, including Cerner or similar EMR
• Ability to manage adult urology cases in a busy hospital-based setting

Responsibilities

• Provide urology call coverage for inpatient and emergency needs
• Round on hospitalized patients as needed, especially after procedures
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with urologic conditions
• Perform or assist with cystoscopy and/or stent placement for hematuria
• Manage kidney stone treatment, including possible extraction or holmium laser lithotripsy
• Respond to urgent consults, including rare torsion cases and UTI-related care
• Collaborate with the ED and other providers for Foley catheter placement when needed
• Work closely with support staff and inpatient teams to ensure timely patient care
