Job Description
LVN - Outpatient Clinic

Schedule

40 hours per week; 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday.

Assignment Details

Contract length for 13 weeks.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience required.
• Must be able to triage.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Experience with phlebotomy and IV therapy.
• Ability to perform Foley catheter insertion (both male and female) and instruct on clean catch urine collection.
• Experience in medication administration (IM, SQ, oral, and subcutaneous).
• Familiarity with respiratory skills, including face masks and nasal cannula for oxygen administration.
• Ability to communicate patient status changes to the medical team and follow up on phone calls.
• Experience with laboratory result interpretation and medication reconciliation.
• Knowledge of pain assessment management and patient health questionnaires.
• Must provide and bring own stethoscope.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nurse visits and assist in special procedures such as cystoscopies with Botox injections.
• Manage medication administration, including injections.
• Perform sterile procedures and monitor patient vital signs.
• Participate in de-escalation protocols when necessary.
• Document patient interactions accurately and ensure proper specimen labeling.
