Position Summary As our Full Charge Bookkeeper, you'll be at the center of the financial operations supporting our five operating brands. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting and the ownership group, you'll own the day-to-day accuracy of our books, keep cash flow and vendor payments on track, support payroll and budgeting, and serve as a trusted partner to our external accounting team through audit and tax season. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping: AP, bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Process expenses and manage corporate card transactions via Ramp Prepare financial statements and reports for management and ownership Assist with payroll processing and vendor/1099 management Support budgeting, cash flow tracking, and light financial analysis Ensure compliance with company policies and standard accounting practices Help gather documentation for year-end accounting review and tax preparation Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls Support system enhancements and operational efficiencies as the company grows Contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives Required Qualifications 4+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, with QuickBooks Online (QBO ProAdvisor certification required) Hands-on experience using Ramp Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience supporting a small business or multi-entity environment Compensation, Benefits & Schedule Hourly Rate $23.50 - $27.50 per hour Bonus Up to 10% based on performance Paid time off such as PTO, sick days, and vacation days Retirement benefits or accounts Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Reliable, in-office presence required (Holden Beach or Surf City, NC location) #J-18808-Ljbffr
