Casting Operator

Indulge in casting components from molten aluminum, weld critical rotor prop stacks, operate advanced CNC machinery, and perfect your work through trimming and deburring processes. Your dedication to our internal procedures, quality control indicators, and detailed blueprints will be the key to our success. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Guidance Duties: Oversight on training and providing expert guidance to new recruits. What You'll Be Doing: Setup & Execution of Trimming Conduct Stack Welding Methods CNC Machinery Management Casting Setup & Operation; DCM Press Handling Precision Deburring Tasks Orchestrate Stacking Operations Manage Annealing Schedules Operate Counterbore / Carry out Drill Press Work Conservation of Tools / Equipment / Machinery Inspection and Quality Assurance Additional tasks may be assigned as warranted Skills and Proficiencies Required: Mechanical aptitude Comprehension of both oral and written guidelines Tool usage including calipers Academic and Experience Requirements: High School Completion Entry-level Experience Welcomed Physical Requirements: Capacity to withstand high temperatures, chemicals, and fumes Capability to lift up to 100 lbs Ability to maintain positions for lengthy durations Your Expertise Should Include: Experience in Metal Casting Due to the nature of AMETEK Rotron’s programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the US and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.
