Heavy Equipment Mechanic
We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic comfortable with travel and possessing their own tools. Specific tools will be provided by the company. The role involves working MondayFriday, with occasional Saturdays, and returning home Friday nights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including hydraulics and electronics
- Travel to job sites as needed
- Provide own tools; company supplies "eye-ball" tools
Requirements:
- CDL B required; CDL A would be nice
- Clean background check
- Clean driving record
Compensation & Benefits:
- PAY: Depending on Experience (But client is a prime contractor so they pay really good!)
- Hours: MondayFriday, occasional Saturdays
- Per diem for travel
- Seasonal Schedule:
- In December, the company shuts down for 23 weeks over the holidays
- From January through March, the schedule is 4 ten-hour days per week
- There are several additional benefits and details that will be provided at interview time
