Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Location: Largo, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00, with a requirement to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description: The Respiratory Therapist will provide care for patients in a busy hospital setting. This role involves working with a diverse team and engaging in critical care procedures to support patient recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nebulizer treatments and administer ABGs from A-lines and sticks.
• Assist in intubation and respond rapidly to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Manage ventilator settings and provide patient assessments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
• Experience in critical care and ventilator management is essential.
• Strong assessment skills required.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Meditech systems and past experience with ventilators.
