Director of Facilities - Maintenance

Responsibilities Responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost‑effective operation, maintenance, and appearance of multiple facilities Provide hands‑on leadership for day‑to‑day facilities operations, preventive maintenance, vendor management, compliance activities, and small‑to‑moderate facility improvement projects Supervise maintenance staff, manage operating budgets, support capital planning, and help ensure facilities support service delivery Oversee operations and maintenance, supervise and develop maintenance staff, and conduct regular site inspections Procure and manage third‑party vendors and service contracts, monitor contractor performance, and coordinate facility‑related projects Develop and manage facility operating budgets and ensure maintenance and repair expenditures align with budget allocations Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 5 or more years of progressively responsible experience in facilities or maintenance management Strong working knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, vendor oversight, budget management, and regulatory compliance Experience in coordinating inspections, facility projects, and repair or replacement planning Experience supporting capital planning, deferred maintenance tracking, or facility assessments preferred Valid California driver's license and ability to meet the organization’s insurance carrier guidelines required Must pass all required background clearances in accordance with agency, County, State, and federal standards Certifications & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Valid California driver’s license #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
