Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to critically ill patients based on scientific nursing principles
• Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications via oral, subcutaneous, and IV routes; report adverse reactions per policy
• Monitor and adjust specialized critical care equipment including cardiac monitors, ventilators, respirators, and oxygen pumps; interpret and record hemodynamic data such as central venous pressures and pulmonary artery pressures
• Initiate and deliver patient and family education plans covering post-treatment care, medication self-administration, diet, and rehabilitation as prescribed
• Respond to life-saving situations per nursing standards and protocol; apply hemodynamic, phlebotomy, and IV protocols as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Valid ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Active Registered Nurse license valid in the state of practice or a qualifying Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license; compact license holders must provide verification of suicide training and demographic data via Nursys e-Notify
• Proof of right to work in the United States
• Critical care experience in a hospital setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an ICU or CCU environment with hemodynamic monitoring
• Proficiency with ventilator management and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
• Experience with phlebotomy and advanced IV therapy protocols
