Our hospital has a staff of over 400 nurses, therapists, and other dedicated pediatric caregivers. St. Luke's Children's Hospital has earned the trust and respect of thousands of children and their families, and we honor that trust as we help children heal. Our Inpatient Pediatric / Pediatric Oncology unit has 41 beds, 6 oncology beds, and an autologous BMT program.

What you can expect from this role

• Full Time, Part Time, & Flex Night shift positions available. Night shift is typically 1900-0730
• Part Time Day shift position available Day shift is typically 0700 to 1930
• Shift differential pay offered
• Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education

Qualifications: CNA

• Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification

Qualifications: Nurse Apprentice

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA accreditations)
• Experience: 0 years experience
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Nurse Apprentice Letter OR Nursing Intern Letter from the State Board of Nursing. The Nurse Apprentice is able to remain in the Nurse Apprentice position following graduation while awaiting RN or GN Licensure or 90 days, whichever comes first.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
