Location: Baltimore County, MD

Schedule: Onsite Daily; Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Opportunity

A highly respected boutique law firm is seeking a Transactional Associate Attorney to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated transactional work but is seeking a more collaborative, entrepreneurial environment than a traditional large-firm setting.

The firm represents clients in a broad range of commercial, real estate, development, construction, and business transactions throughout Maryland and beyond. Attorneys work on high-profile and complex matters while enjoying direct access to partners, meaningful client interaction, and a clear path for professional growth.

This position is open due to continued growth and increasing client demand.

What You'll Do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and analyze contracts and transactional documents
• Support commercial, real estate, development, construction, and business transactions
• Conduct legal research and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice
• Manage multiple active matters and client relationships
• Work directly with partners and clients on sophisticated transactions
• Assist with due diligence, closings, and transaction management
• Collaborate across practice areas and with attorneys at varying experience levels
• Take on increasing responsibility as your experience and expertise grow

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the Maryland Bar required
• Approximately 2-5 years of transactional legal experience preferred
• Strong drafting, contract review, and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:

• Commercial transactions
• Commercial real estate
• Real estate development
• Construction transactions
• Corporate law
• Business transactions
• Finance or lending transactions
• Complex contract drafting and negotiation
