La Veta Ave. Suite 610 Orange, CA 92868 Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am-1:00 pm, additional hours and rotating weekends may be required. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collecting payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) 1 month or more of experience as phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of experience as phlebotomist Current or Prior experience at LabCorp Additional Job Standards In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. 1 year or more phlebotomist experiences with Geriatrics and Pediatric patients Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Pay Range: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life
