Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

Lead, mentor, and manage accounting staff, including Accounts Payable and Payroll functions. Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable operations. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Prepare and review financial statements, reporting, and variance analyses. Support budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and cash flow planning. Lead audit preparation, compliance reporting, internal controls, and job cost accounting initiatives.

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred. 6+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP, job cost accounting, and Percentage of Completion (POC) revenue recognition/accounting. Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting ERP systems.
