Recycling Machinery Assembler

Overview: Assembly of fabricated and purchased mechanical parts to build recycling machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to assemble and disassemble various components
• Read blueprints, drawing, measurements and engineering parts lists to determine proper machine assembly
• Safely utilize hand and power tools to aid in mechanical assembly
• Use a file, grinder, sander or other tool to produce proper fit between parts
• Operate a forklift and overhead crane
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Ensure that all procedures are followed and documented as required

Physical Requirements:

Heavy industrial environment with mechanical activities requiring personal protective equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• Stand for extended periods of time
• Sit, stoop, bend
• Reach above shoulders
• Lift 50 pounds

Pay Rate & Schedule:

Pay rate is based on experience and skill level. Full-time Monday - Friday.
