Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for delivering material safely, accurately, and professionally to customers while supporting daily warehouse operations. This role serves as a key customer-facing representative of Rensenhouse and helps ensure orders are picked, staged, loaded, delivered, and received accurately. While not delivering to customers, you are also responsible for assisting in the warehouse.
Successful team members demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, customer service, inventory accuracy, technology adoption, and continuous improvement. This role contributes directly to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by supporting both transportation and warehouse functions.
Reports to: Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or greater
Valid Driver license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer and mobile device proficiency.
Commitment to safety and operational excellence
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in warehouse, yard, and outdoor environments throughout the year.
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and company delivery vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in electrical distribution, industrial distribution, warehousing, or logistics.
Forklift certification.
DOT medical card experience.
Experience using warehouse management systems, scanners, or inventory software.
CDL would be fantastic or the desire to obtain one.
Working Conditions:
This position operates in a warehouse setting and in the field for customer deliveries.

Essential Job Functions:
Delivery & Transportation Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with company policies and traffic regulations.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Load, secure, transport, and unload material safely and efficiently.
Deliver products accurately and on time to customer locations and job sites.
Obtain required customer signatures and delivery documentation.
Verify material before leaving the warehouse and upon delivery.
Communicate delivery delays, issues, or customer concerns promptly.
Determine route optimization and efficient delivery scheduling.
Process customer returns and transfer material between locations when required.
Maintain professional appearance and conduct while representing the company.
Warehouse Operations Responsibilities
Pick, stage, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
Assist with receiving, put-away, stocking, and inventory replenishment.
Verify quantities and product integrity during receiving and shipping activities.
Maintain organized warehouse locations and proper material identification.
Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
Follow warehouse processes and digital workflow requirements.
Assist with job staging, customer storage, and special project shipments.
Help maintain housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse and yard.
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $21 to $21 hourly.
