Job Details Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Schedule: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week Float rotation to pediatrics, pediatric intensive care, and nursery may be required Required Qualifications Certifications: BLS, NRP Education/Experience: Minimum of 1 year of neonatal intensive care experience, at least 2 years of overall clinical experience, CA State License with Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks, and applicable certifications with valid expiration dates. Must complete all onboarding procedures, including labs within 3-5 days of contract signing, and provide 7-year work history verification Maximum RTO (return to original location) is 7 days per contract Holiday RTO is limited to specific holidays with the holiday periods beginning at 7:00 PM the night before and ending at 7:00 AM the day after Preferred Qualifications None specified. Additional Information The patient population includes neonates and infants in a surgical NICU setting with a daily census of approximately 23 patients across 29 rooms with 35 beds. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Skills needed include neonatal ventilation management, line placement, infection control, NICU procedures, and neonatal pharmacology.
