Pharmacy Tech

Position Summary The Pharmacy Technician is an exciting staff-level opportunity at MultiCare, assisting in manipulative and non-discretionary functions of the practice of pharmacy. In this role, you will apply your organizational skills and attention to detail for successful daily work operations. FTE: 1.0, Shift: Evening, Schedule: Evening shift with night rotation. Responsibilities Assist in ordering supplies from wholesalers and direct accounts, and verify items received against invoices. Store items received and maintain stock levels, including dating and initialing invoices and packing slips upon receipt. Enter customers’ medication and billing information into the computer system. Answer and screen telephone calls and forward as needed. Perform extemporaneous compounding under pharmacist supervision. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Current Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by the Washington State Department of Health. Successful completion of National Pharmacy Technician Certification Program (preferred). Driver’s license required if driving an MHS vehicle. Pay and Benefits Pay range: $27.64 - $45.69 USD. Benefits include medical, dental, retirement, and paid time off.
