Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, including evaluation and 60-minute initial evaluations and one-on-one treatment sessions.
• Experience with documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, delegate tasks to therapy assistants or aides, and supervise students as needed preferred.
• Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education. Adherence to state Practice Act and facility policies required.

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Schedule: 5x8 (five days per week, 8-hour shifts).
• Duration: 13-week assignment.
• Patient care model: 60-minute initial evaluations and one-on-one treatment sessions as standard.
