The Member Services Support Volunteer plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for our members and guests. This volunteer assists with front desk operations, member engagement, facility support, and administrative tasks while helping maintain an organized, clean, and friendly environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet members and guests as they arrive and depart. Assist staff with member check-in procedures. Sort, organize, date, and maintain lost and found items. Restock the Member Services first aid backpack as needed. Wipe down lobby tables and chairs to help maintain a clean and welcoming space. Accompany staff on facility tours and assist with welcoming prospective members. Provide directions and assist members in locating Gundersen and other facility areas when needed. Prepare and organize birthday cards for members. Support the housekeeping team by folding clean hand towels. Requirements Friendly, welcoming, and customer-service oriented. Ability to communicate effectively with members, guests, staff, and volunteers. Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to perform light physical tasks such as walking, stocking supplies, wiping surfaces, and folding towels. Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive YMCA environment.
