This all starts with our greatest asset…our employees.As the Lead Technician you will be responsible for scheduling and productivity of the shop technicians. You will be the go to person for questions regarding difficult repairs and assist peers in developing their technical and diagnostic abilities.Primary Responsibilities:Open and close work orders, schedule all techs and work load.Ordering parts from vendors when necessaryAssisting peers in developing their technical and diagnostic abilitiesEnsure a safe and clean work environmentPost repair inspectionsSpend half hour per day with each shop techSearch for service letter, product updates and additional repairs.Monitor life day labor and work in progress through service linkCommunicate daily with customers regarding status updates using multiple means of communicationAdditional Responsibilities:Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.Additional duties as assigned by manager.To be successful in this position you should be able understand the requirements of time needed for scheduling work, keeping in mind current outstanding projects and employee schedules.
