About the role Berk-Tek, a Leviton Company, is looking for extrusion operators to join their fiber network cable manufacturing operations in Fuquay Varina, NC! Manufacturing experience preferred. An advanced training program upon entry. Average paid training program is 12-15 weeks in length. This role provides the opportunity to work within the Network Solutions Business Unit of Leviton Manufacturing Company Inc. Starting pay of $20.00 and up based on experience. Weekend Dayshift Differential - $2.00/hr Weekend Nightshift Differential - $2.50/hr Shifts Available Weekend Days - Fri-Sun and every other Thursday - 6:00am - 6:00pm Weekend Nights - Fri-Sun and every other Thursday - 6:00pm - 6:00am Responsibilities Safely sets-up, takes-apart, operates, and maintains cleanliness of any assigned piece(s) of equipment. Ability to understand all shop floor documents that are necessary to operate the equipment and manufacture the product. Ability to maintain and complete all required documentation in the manufacturing of the product. Perform all required quality control checks and inspections on assigned product lines. Assist in other areas of the cable manufacturing operations as needed. Qualifications Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents provided to operator machines printed in English.
