PANTRY COORDINATOR (FULL TIME)

• We are hiring immediately for a full time PANTRY COORDINATOR position.
• Location: Canteen - 20 Hudson Yards, New Hyde Park, NY 10003. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous 2 years of hospitality and food service experience required.
• Pay Range: $19.00 per hour to $21.00 per hour.

- Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify deliveries of beverages, snacks, coffee supplies, and pantry products, ensuring order accuracy, inspecting product quality, and checking expiration dates.
• Stock and replenish office pantry areas, coffee stations, and refrigerated items while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and ensuring proper handling of perishable products.
• Organize and rotate inventory using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method to maintain product freshness, minimize waste, and ensure a clean, well-stocked pantry environment.
• Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance of office coffee and water equipment, promptly reporting equipment issues or repair needs to minimize service disruptions.

Job Summary Summary: Responsible for food/beverage distribution from the pantry, pantry product inventory and offerings, and other related duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures all food or beverage is distributed from pantry in a timely fashion.
• Maintains and performs product inventory.
• Understands menu offerings.
• Creates, modifies, or closes individual sale checks via electronic tablet.
• Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
