A highly regarded insurance carrier is seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to cover litigated claims throughout Canonsburg , PA. This is a hybrid role: two days in office and three days remote. Base salary is $146K-$175K with a 15% bonus. Primary Duties: The Trial Attorney will provide legal defense and representation in complex, high-exposure litigation matters. The position involves representing insured clients in court, advising internal claims teams, and managing cases through trial and appeal. The position also includes advising claims professionals, maintaining client communication, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Independently handle litigation, including court appearances, witness presentation, and evidence submission Develop and execute defense strategies for complex legal matters Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs Manage cases through trial and appeals as assigned Provide legal guidance to claims professionals Communicate effectively with courts, clients, and opposing counsel Ensure timely and efficient case resolution Travel for depositions, court appearances, and meetings (approx. 20%) Support training initiatives and stay current on legal developments Requirements: Strong litigation, research, and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Experience with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office Ability to manage complex caseloads independently Valid driver’s license required Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school Active bar membership in the applicable jurisdiction Minimum 15+ years of litigation experience preferred Trial experience (15+ cases) strongly preferred Background in commercial auto, premises liability, municipal, and construction negligence defense preferred Frink-Hamlett Legal Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and all applicants will receive consideration for employment without discrimination based on race, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation or citizenship status. #J-18808-Ljbffr Frink-Hamlett Legal Solutions
