Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a well-established company in Seneca, IL that is seeking a Quality/Shipping Administrator to join their team. This position is ideal for someone with previous forklift experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a dirty and dusty industrial environment. The Quality/Shipping Administrator plays a key role in supporting quality assurance, inventory control, and shipping operations to ensure products are accurately received, tracked, and delivered.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare outbound shipments, including finished goods, raw materials, and product samples.
• Create, review, and verify shipping documentation such as packing slips, Bills of Lading, and Certificates of Analysis.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with corrective actions.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or concerns to management.
• Ensure products and materials are properly labeled and meet quality standards.
• Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
• Coordinate staging and loading of outbound shipments while ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for truck drivers, verifying paperwork and coordinating logistics.
• Assist with general office, administrative, and warehouse support duties.
• Follow all company quality procedures and ISO standards.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently as needed throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with inventory, shipping, receiving, or logistics operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a dirty, dusty industrial environment.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and forklifts.
