Key responsibilities of the RN Progressive Care Unit include:

• Deliver highly individualized care to medical, cardiac, and surgical patients
• Perform Q6H head-to-toe assessments and full documentation
• Administer and titrate medications such as Dopamine, Dobutrex, and Precedex
• Maintain and manage equipment like Phillips telemetry and Alaris pumps
• Conduct procedures including Foley placement, wound vac management, and EKGs

Requirements of the RN Progressive Care Unit include:

• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Cardiac/telemetry and critical care experience
• Advanced skills: IV, chest tube, tracheostomy, CVC management
