This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.\n\nWhat you\u2019ll get to do:\n\n * Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for Support Equipment\n * Work with Design, Integrated Logistics Support, Specialty Engineering, and project management in development of Support Equipment for mission operational system on the Sentinel program to apply concepts and practices to Support Equipment\n * Analysis and perform Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) for Support Equipment Architecture development\n * Perform analyses at all levels of product lifecycle to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal\n * Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements as applicable to support equipment and total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints\n * Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into support equipment specifications using DOORS\n * Develops Architectural framework products using CAMEO MBSE product toolsets\n * Ensure support equipment requirements, architecture, and designs integrate with technical needs of the Sentinel program\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications: \n\nThis requisition may be filled at either the Systems Engineer level (T-02) or Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03).\n\nRequired for Both Levels:\n\n * Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years\n * Must have a current or ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\n * 1 year experience in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Tools (Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody or similar)\n * 1 year experience with Requirements management tools (DOORS, for example)\n\n\n\nSystems Engineer (T-02):\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master\u0027s degree\n\n\n\n\u200bPrincipal Systems Engineer (T-03):\n\n * Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 5 years of related experience; 3 years experience with a Master of Science degree; 1 year experience with a PhD\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Understanding of System Engineering (SE) process, including SE experience across multiple levels of integration\n * Experience with the following tools: CAMEO, DOORS, Confluence, and JIRA\n * Understands Support Equipment and uses, i.e., Peculiar (PSE) and Common (CSE) Support Equipment\n * Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering\n * Experience with large scale aerospace/defense projects\n\n\n\nPosition Benefits\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n\n * 401k \n\n * Educational Assistance \n\n * Life Insurance \n\n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n\n * Paid Time Off \n\n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n\n * Employee Discounts \n\n\n\n\n position\u2019s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. \n\nThis role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\n#Sentinelsystems\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
