Mavens Delicatessen is looking for reliable, hardworking line cooks to join our kitchen team. We’re a busy restaurant with a large menu, so we need people who can stay organized, work with a sense of urgency, and consistently put out quality food.

At Mavens, teamwork is a huge part of how we operate. We’re looking for cooks who take pride in what they serve, keep their station clean, and are willing to jump in and help the team when needed.

Pay:

$18/hour

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items accurately and consistently

• Follow recipes, portion sizes, and Mavens food standards

• Maintain quality and presentation, even during busy services

• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized throughout your shift

• Properly label, date, rotate, and store food

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

• Complete prep, opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities

• Communicate with other cooks, FOH staff, and management to keep service running smoothly

• Help other stations and team members when needed

• Minimize food waste and properly record any waste

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to work quickly without sacrificing food quality

• Comfortable working in a fast paced kitchen

• Strong attention to detail and consistency

• Able to multitask and stay organized during busy services

• Team focused with a willingness to help wherever needed

• Available for a combination of day, evening, and weekend shifts
