Salary Range The salary range for this position is $17.00/hr - $29.75/hr. The base salary reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual offers may vary based on responsibilities, candidate skills, experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location. Key Accountabilities Develop and grow client and prospective client relationships Consult with clients/prospective clients over the lifecycle of the relationship. Cross-sell products and services and refer to business partners. Maintain contact with client base through periodic proactive touchpoints. Achieve Sales and Service Targets Markets a full range of consumer and small business banking services. Maintains well-developed knowledge of all products and services. Proactively seeks coaching to develop service and sales skills. Operations Oversight Proactively resolves moderate to complex customer maintenance and client service problems. Maintains in-depth knowledge of banking channels and educates clients on digital solutions. Executes all sales, service, and banking transactions accurately and in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. Follows fraud prevention procedures and attends training to stay up-to-date on evolving fraud tactics. Key Measures of Success Executes strategies to improve client retention and cross-selling. Contributes to the center's financial success through loan, account, referral, and digital enrollment targets. Acquires new Community Bank relationships through cultivation of referral network and outreach. Relationship Banker & Relationship Banker II Levels There are two levels of Relationship Banker. Bankers must complete required training, licensing, and achieve performance goals to be considered for advancement. Relationship Banker Demonstrates ability to handle all transactions, servicing needs, and inquiries after required training. Must achieve account opening goals, partner referrals, lending and credit card goals, and complete quality Client Financial Profiles. Relationship Banker II Experienced bankers who have completed the Training Path or have similar experience. Demonstrates consultative sales skills and strong service levels to build and deepen client relationships. Consistently meets or exceeds account opening, lending, credit card, partner referral, and quality Client Financial Profiles goals. May manage an assigned client portfolio to handle all consumer banking relationship needs. Encouraged to participate in community service or networking groups. Completes Relationship Banker Development Program to demonstrate advanced proficiency. Qualifications and Education Requirements High School diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of one year relationship-based client consultation and/or consultative sales experience (banking industry a plus). Minimum of one year banking experience including deposit/transaction processing, account servicing, new account opening, and consumer lending. Eligible to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) or currently NMLS registered.
